The Banyan Tree situated in the Old Broadcasting House side of Caldecott hill was used as a backdrop for many Chinese and Indian dramas.Many stories were told about this tree. Here is one... One day a cat that was used for filming at the Street Scene was missing. After an intensive search the crew found the culprit a python (see below) under the Banyan Tree see insert.
